This race starts at the Odell Fire Station and ends at Jackson Park in The Heights of Hood River. This race is a casual road race with a 4th of July parade near the end. Runners congregate at the Odell Fire Station where Hood River County Sheriff, Matt English, is usually at the start to provide instructions. Runners should wait for the starting gun to go off to start the race. Runners that “jump the gun” will be disqualified from placement in the final results.
